Paper Sculptures

I’ve had a crazy start to this semester and I’ve more than once looked for inspiration on Pinterest. This lesson idea too came originally from pinterest, here’s the link.

I found a big bunch of paper strips and here’s what we did.

Some of the 1st and 2nd graders had a hard time rolling these and they didn’t get quite as many done. I wondered if older students would still find this interesting enough or if they’d think it’s too monotonious after the first dozen rolls.

I used a regular (liquid) kids school glue. It takes a while to dry but that’s what I could find.
